A parent-teacher conference, is a short meeting between the parents and teachers of students to discuss children’s progress at school and find solutions to academic or behavioural problems. Parent teacher conferences supplement the information conveyed by report cards by focusing on students’ specific strengths and weaknesses.
At British International School the Foundation Stage teachers welcomed inputs from the parents about their children. Grade-level academic expectations, insights that would help the teachers work more effectively and being involved to help boost progress at school were summarized.
Being ‘Partners in Education was the aim at British International School.
