British International School Kindergarten supports Emirates Red Crescent
Emirates Red Crescent a charity Foundation in the U.A.E provides humanitarian services. At British International School, the kindergarten students supported the orphans at Emirates Red Crescent by making a difference.
An appeal was set up to provide toys with wings and charity clothing together with donation boxes provided by Emirates Red Crescent.
Our fifteen students who volunteered to adopt an orphan worked hard at our morning assemblies and made a great impact by collecting charitable clothing and toys for the orphans. They helped to break the poverty cycle by collecting affordable and rewardable donations.
The blend of our donations and the focus approach was to save lives and improve the world to make it a better place.
Our Arabic team of teachers supported and worked very hard to put a smile on the children’s faces when they visited the Emirates Red Crescent Orphanage to entertain the children with Sports, Colour Splash, face painting and snacks. A healthy competition at Oum Amar Nursery, Sharjah on Sunday, 21st April encouraged and motivated our students to know the importance of Emirates Red Crescent and to also know that ‘Happiness is something when you give it away, it comes right back to you.
