The BIS Kindergarten students ventured out on their first educational field trip to the EXPO 2020 on two consecutive days on Monday, 22nd November for KG1 and Tuesday, 23rd November for KG2. The children were excited and the enthusiasm was evident in one and all. The buses streamed in to the EXPO designated parking bay and we were greeted warmly by the personal guides assigned to our groups. In the background our little ones were voicing out in unison “EXPO!” To top it off the students were given all exclusive EXPO 2020 passports and lanyards, which they cherished and took personal care of throughout the day by sporting the passports in their card holders with much pride.
The children were ushered in to the Opportunity Pavilion and they were given time to observe, look around and absorb the surroundings which was visually and acoustically stimulating. They participated in a game designed with futuristic and sustainable material incorporated. Pictures were captured while going to and from the various areas. The students made a pit stop to have their snacks and returned back to school with a lot of information to share with their parents about their experience at EXPO.
The 50th UAE National Day Celebrations will mark the country’s Golden Jubilee.
BIS Primary students will be celebrating this historic day through a number of colourful cultural programmes.

We at BIS Kindergarten were overjoyed to host celebrations of International Children’s Day at our school campus.
Students were encouraged to dress up in BLUE that stands for “MY RIGHTS”. Creating an atmosphere in which every child’s rights are guaranteed was our highest priority.
Our little gems had a day filled with delight and laughter, and took part in a wide range of amusing activities. They were engaged and were encouraged to explore their interest and unleash their full potential. Sporting activities like Crab Walk, Animal Yoga, Under the Hoopla Chair and the soft play area added to their day of enjoyment. It was a visual treat as they steered their way through and enjoyed every moment of time spent at school. Music, games and our Mascots Tom and Jerry made everyone’s day.
