The Foundation Stage Orientation Day Programme 2017-18 was organised on the 10th and 11th of September in the Foundation Stage classrooms. British International School was decorated with bright and colourful balloons. The programme started with the teachers greeting the parents warmly. It was followed by a presentation and an interactive session where the teachers elaborated on the three major aspects of a child’s overall development. The parents were also informed that the Early Years Programme had Specific Areas of Learning.
How learning happens in the classroom was also highlighted. The Parent Flipbook an excellent guide for introducing routines at British International School was the message for the evening.   A take home craft and a smiley badge with the BIS logo is what each child received.
Overall the programme set the tone for a vibrant year ahead, filled with fun and learning.
