To mark the 47th National Day Celebrations Highlighting ‘Unity in Diversity’ British International School hosted a superb National Day Celebration, a real highlight and a magical experience where our very own students together with their parents, friends and families had a fantastic evening. The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Sheikh Sultan Bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and Dr. Mohammed Tariq, our Chairman of British International School. The school was decorated with shades of different colours and a celebration of talent was the topic for the evening.
It was a great Introduction for our children into the culture of our host country. The children dressed up in colours of the UAE flag looked radiant as they started off their evening happily. The engagement and excitement created around the campus was amazing as the choir had all our children up on stage ready to begin the evening with the National Anthem. Much was in store for them through a series of activities by highlighting its history, culture and people.
The evening also showcased Henna designs, face painting, yummy Arabic food and different food items. The ‘Game Zone’ had a lot of audience at every stall and the Art Gallery had paintings of our very own student’s creativity.
UAE offers amazing benefits in the form of many leisure facilities and recreational delights for parents and children, but the biggest draw was the indoor celebration ‘UNITY IN DIVERSITY’ at BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL.
A kaleidoscope of rich culture and tradition of the UAE at BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL was a splendid way of saying, “Salaam, UAE, we love you.”
